It hurts deep in the heart, but congrats to greece. portugal put the pressure on all game but the chances just weren't used to their advantage. yes some calls were iffy both ways, but no one is perfect. at the end there with figo's shot, it should have been a corner, would it have a made a difference? who knows... all I know is WORLD CUP 2006 is going to be the next timw to prve themselves.

I thought the other really good chance was ronaldo right in close, if he had chipped it or lobbed it instead of firing it up above the net. it would have been a sure goal, b ut under immense pressure mistakes are bound to happen.

Too bad this mistake cost them so much

Seeing Ronaldo burst into tears totally broke my heart :(

The Portugese are still great losers though, they were still partying it up on Commercial Drive even more than the Greeks were. They played a lot of good games in euro 2004, you can't forget about those too!

I bet i could name a few teams, where fans would hella riot if their team lost, and it was being played in their hometown.

ya greece wuz the cinderella team this year and they pulled it off. too bad calgary didnt pull it off for the cup.

but yah ronaldo, suk it up bud, hell go bak to being a part of brazil in the world cup and prolly hav a better chance there too. o well...
