Personally I think pierced tongues are the dumbest thing. They'd get in the way for eating, they require maintenance, they add bacteria to your mouth (ooh yum, i want to kiss someone with extra bacteria!), and i personally wouldnt want to kiss or have uh, other tongue activities from someone with a tongue ring. I prefer natural I guess. Then again, all piercings except ear piercings I feel pretty much the same about, so what do I know.

Anyways it's your decision, but either way you should be doing it sober anyway. Which I hope you are by now. :o
