what are some good fishing spots???

not sure if there are any fishers on this board im sure there are though, my holidays are coming up fast and i will be down in the okanagan area and on the island, i dont know the area at all so im wondering if some of you will hook me up with some good spots and let me know what kinda of fish are in those good spots.Woot woot!!

we used to go to vedder river in chilliwack

i dont fish so thats the onyl one i know of haha

i went to chattaway lake up in merritt, rainbow trout, lots of fish. another good place (just for fly fishin) is scotch creek

i was in the boat when my friend caught a 15+ pound salmon outta lake okanagen, RIGHT near the town

my friend just took us out there to humor me cus we wanted to fish, but we ended up making the wall of canadian tire :198:

surrey lake near kamloops is pretty sweet, but i think you have to be staying there to fish.
tunqua and pinatan were the shit, but i think they might have been privatized, im not sure but tis worth looking into. when i was 12 i caught a 5 pound trout at tunqua, it was glorious.
and i find in all these lakes the best bate is either a green lure or a hot dog weiner.

ya if im trout fishing i just use a bobber and i tiny ass hook with some cheese :) works awsome!!

never done cheese, but i used to make dough. flour and water and some oil.

never tried that on man next time give it a shot!!!, hotdogs, moose meat and bacon work awsome as u already know but ive found cheese is the best!!

Pfft... Trout... wimps measure their Fish in Inches. North Island for some hardcore Salmon Fishing. Knight Inlet, Johnstone Straight, all around Hope Island. Lots of good places out there. I've caught 15lb Coho on a couple occasions up there. Baitwise, I don't usually put any on, use a good lure, old trusty ones like the Buzz Bomb seem to work well.
