i got to thinking about this,
cause it seems nowadays that the thing to do is divorce...

sure most of the time its for good reason..

but im so happy to have my parents celebrating 25 years of marriage next week.

and close to 30 years together.

my grandparents just celebrated their 61st year of marriage (after meeting on a BLIND DATE!!!!!)

so are you parents still together?

My parentz have been together for 16 yearz I believe. Most of the time it seemz rite ... Although sometimez I really wish thingz were different :(

Nope.

They seperated when I was 5, divorced when I was 6.
I'm glad that it happend when I was too young to understand - all I ever knew was that <babyvoice> mommy loves me, daddy loves me, and daddy lives over there now. </babyvoice>

My parents were really cool about everything though - they remained friends and were very, very civilized about the whole thing. They never really argued in my presence (nor my brother's), and always worked together to do what was best for "the kids".

Sadly my Dad passed away when I was 15, so I'm left with just my Mom. She's awesome, but I'd do anything to have my Dad around, too.

my parents seperated when i was 6 divoriced when i was 8... and its for the better all they did was fight all the time when they were together, not that they get along now but they never have to see each other so its not a big deal

i dont even know my real dad.

my mom married my stepdad when i was 4. so i call him dad, even tho i dont feel a fatherly bond to him, hes a good guy tho.

Nope. My parents seperated when I was 13 after being married for 17 years, The finalized the divorce 2 years ago when my mom re-married.
