While the alligator may have the home court advantage in the water it isn't deep enough for him to bring down the tiger into a death roll.

The tiger has a natural advantage of speed and range but this will be slowed by the water.

If the alligator maintained the element of suprise it would win hands down cause the tiger would never see it coming. But I think that would be unfair cause the tiger could also suprise the alligator by hiding in reeds or something.

Must be a bored Tiger if he wants to take on an Alligator... although considering the fact that there aren't Alligators where Tigers live... so that's a long trip when he can just find a Crocodile somewhere nearby. :p

Jon, I am told that an aligator can jump upwards of 10 feet in the air. If this is true, what effect does it have upon the theoretical outcome of the match?

This new information changes a lot. With the alligator leaping 10' through the air it gives it a major advantage because the tiger's leaping abilities are not needed.

The alligator would be low down in the water and alowing it to jump up at the tiger (instead of the tiger jumping 'down').

Ok I say the Alligator wins this one.

Yeah I guess I didn't think about 'jumping down' being pouncing and tiger's are good at that.

But still I dont think a tiger would be good at pouncing on something in water while alligator's are designed to bite things that are above the water... like water buffalo and Linda Kozlowski.

An Alligator.. even though only in 1 and a half feet of water.. one its grabs onto your flesh, it'll will start rolling and bringing the tiger with it. once it has that.. you're pretty much dead meat since the clenching that the gator would do is an insane amount of power.

so Alligator would totally kill the tiger.

After rolling, if it didnt break the tigers neck.. drowning it would be the second option.

Hillary Duff is one year older and a lot more matured (if you know what I mean) than Haley.

But Haley looks a lot like an elf which would give him enhanced senses.

Neither are trained in their given weapon and a mace would be harder to weild than a pick axe.

But Hillary Duff is drunk... I don't know if this is an advantage or disadvantage.
