Very important; Smoking @ Apex!

With this glorious weather, comes extremely dry forests. As this event is held in a densley wooded area, I want to remind everyone about the leading cause of forest fires: Cigarette butts.

If you smoke, ensure that your cigarette is completely out when finished. Please don't toss _anything_ that is lit into the bushes. We will be watering down the venue before the event and this will keep the grounds and bushes moist throughout the night, but without a proper rainfall in advance there will still be a risk.

I have checked the long term forcast for next week, and there isn't a cloud in sight for Apex. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that the weather stays nice!

Other than that....PARTY ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hope that this post makes people think twice about throwing their lit butts on the ground, but i have a feeling that once people get in that 'party' mood logical thought goes out the window.

Another idea, don't let that smoke hit the ground, use an old water bottle, or a can.

Also be conscious of the people around you, make sure that they are taking care as well.
