What are those green gems by yours posts?

ok, so u get karma given to you and you get a massive number of posts by being a total geek... but what's the deal with those green gems? u run ur mouse over them and it says some crap about how known u supposedly are... who decides that and how do u get more gems, anyways? I've seen people who have over a thousand posts and only 2 gems, but other people who've got like 700 posts and 4 gems or something... am I trippin out or what?

check your user cp! it tells you how many karma points you have.
the more karma you are given, the more points you have, and the more green dots you get.
karma value is weighted by the user's reg date (older = more value), post count, status (admin, mod)

shows how many posts you have.

you can only get 8 and the stars stop at 1,500 posts i think.

is there any way to read all the karma you've gotten, or does your user CP only hold a certain amount of it and everything that's older gets deleted?

i think you can only read the most recent karma you've gotten. i've tried to find a way to look back at old karma, but i can't.

dang, for the longest time I didn't know what it was or that people could give it to u, so I never bothered to check my karma messages... then I got some given to me for posting my Signum remix and I realized that I had gotten some and read the stuff in there and it was kinda trippy... specially cuz I got karma for having a bouncy titty avatar, LoL
