shit yah. i had some raw canvas left over from a painting so i decided hey i could use a new purse and a couple of hours later i have this kick ass personalized purse with a little bird embroidered on the front and everything.
i think i might make a matching change purse tomorow.

i cant wait to get my own sewing machine (which should hopefully be in a couple of weeks)

i hand stitch everything i make.
i jsut made a pair of mittens for my girlfriend and im gonna make her a matching scarf.
i don really like sewing machines, i like hand stitching, takes longer but i like the way it looks.

nah. i got the hang of it. once you get into the swing of things it goes by fast.
i want to learn how to knit and crochet, but time will come for that.
right now im happy making things like mittens and stuffed monsters and purses.

I was watching Martha Stewart the other week, and she made a bag out of an old towel and a pair of wood circles. I never made a bag before, but she makes it look so easy that I wanna try.

that's awesome. I used to make purses out of old jean jackets. They were great because they were sure durable (like canvas) and they had pockets!

vesperstina - mittens are my specailty. but i have been told by some people that they tend to be too cute\young-esk to wear in public.... but i dig them.
im all about big letters on the top.
