Just got back from Vic to check out the Eygptian exhibit that's in from the london museum. If you get a chance check it out it's pretty interesting. Lots of Statues and masks and many hyroglphics(spelling) Very cool!

Yeah they have this keypad with a speaker on it and as you check out the exhibits you punch in the two digit code and it gives you a little information about the piece you are looking at and the history of it. Extremly interesting and more importantly the artifacts are in such amazing condition it's insane to comprehend how old they are.

I would post pics of the exhibit but no pictures where allowed. It was crazy busy in there though! I'm just a big fan of history. It amazes me how little the time we spend on this earth really is and that our generation is such a small part of the whole. The one thing I learnt that was really interesting was how small the egyptian race was. Fuly grown adults barely reached 5' in height. They have 2 actual mummies there too. One of a 12 year old child. This one was actually rather disturbing! I think it's there until the end of the summer but I'll find out the exact date and fill ya in. I don't know you that well Myra but what I do know of you I think you would enjoy it too!

I'm going next weekend, looking forward to it - i missed out on the Leornardo Da Vinci exhibit so I'm definitely not missing this one... already have the tickets and everything. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Yeah it was pretty dope. If you are in Vic on a saturday you gotta check out the upstairs club. It's above Darcy's Pub on Warf Street. Lots of ladies and a great time. I missed the Da Vinci exhibit too I was pissed about that! I don't know if you know much about Vic but if you have any questions about resturants or hotels and shit give me a shout.

I'll probably have to work Saturday night, I think we're just going for the day (long frickin day though)... for the Da Vinci exhibit me and my buddy actually went all the way there just to find out it was sold out a week in advance, so we were at the museum but couldn't get it... fuckin lame but not happenin this time.

If i need any other info though i'll be sure to ask.

Yeah the ferry is like $35 for a car and 12 bucks per person or close to that it was expensive I know that much. Gotta luv those guys working in the cafeteria for $25.00 hr. "We will strike cause our $25.00 hr to work in fast food is not enough.

Oh yeah...there are quite a few sites at that exhibit that are usually only dawned for the eyes of the British, definetly worth a look here. Eye of Horus mah-siv!

Apparently the reason this exhibit is happening at all is because the Royal British Museum is undergoing renovations so instead of storing all the stuff they put it on tour instead, so I don't think so unless you're talking about a different museum.

i see, but since i didn't notice that it was spelled incorrectly until you pointed it out, i just didn't understand. Perhaps next time you should put the mispelled word in bold or italics to draw attention to it and then people will be like:

"hmmm.... i wonder why that word is in bold/italics - maybe it wasn't spelled right above and this astute person is bringing attention to that fact in a humorous fashion... then again, maybe not."
