Eyebrow piercing

im getting a barbell put in this weekend... any tips for cleansing? how much does it cost at Next? and is it alright if ur drunk during and after u get it down? cuz it'll be the weekend and most likely my blood alcohol level well be up there somewhere...

walk along granville while ure there and just check out all the prices at the stores.. they can range a lot. drinking shouldn't be a prob at all.. clean with water and anti bacteral soap..and sometimes with epson salts. not all places pierce ure eyebrow right away with a barbell..most of time its a D ring then you can change to a barbell.. just find the right place to do it. make sure you have a good feeling about the place and person piercing you. yay i think im gonna get my tongue done soon.

Um, most reputable piercing places WON'T pierce you when you're drunk.

im afraid it'll get infected and look gross haha.. i had my ear pierced when i was younger and it got infected.. cuz i think im allergic to certain metals...


and i dont think people can tell when im drunk!

My tongue actually hurt the LEAST out of all my piercings! Dooo it!!!


oh and kam, what they'll do is probably initially pierce you with a larger barbell then you'll have to go downsize it after it's healed a bit more. I'd reccomend getting a d ring to start though, then moving onto a bbell because they are a lot easier to clean. All you need is some nice perfume free soap and clean qtips to clean, do NOT use bactiene or iodine or any of that stuff, too hard on your skin. I used to work at next (haha you knew that though, I swear!) and I'd say to budget at least 80-100 dollars to get it done.

i had mine pierced years ago... had to have it done like 3 times because it kept growing out, every 8-10 months.

now i have a big scar where it was, and i have to get my eyebrow trimmed when i go to the barber because the scar makes the hair grow funny.

i had one a few years ago until i realized it sucked ass.

it's all about symmetry, kids.

and yea, i have a big fucking scar on my eyebrow now. but i kind of like it. it looks feirce. and i shave in a double line in my eyebrow anyway so it looks even better.

next is really expensive to get it done.
i used to work at 2nd look in langely and they are pretty decently priced and the lady there is super nice and has been peircing for like 40years.
i don't recommend being drunk when you get it done since it lowers your bodys ability to clot and it will bleed for a long ass time.
also make sure you eat b4 you get it done.

My eyebrow was the first piercing I got... over 2 years ago. I initially had a captive bead ring in it and freely changed it after a couple months. It's been trouble free for me... And yes, a ring of some kind is recommended at first cause its easier to clean around the hole with a q-tip. Mine has grown out a fair bit since I first got it done but its still haning in there.

It's pretty painless... least painful of all of my 6 piercings, and I did get drunk the night before getting it done and had no problems.
