any labour workers here?
do u work manual labour, and what do u do?
i work in a warehouse, its awsome when u break for smokes and u can go into work dressed like u spent the night in a ditch, and u dont have to watch the language or be fake nice to custormers or clients, make decent coin (just for now tho, this just temp till back to school, if i had to do it rest of my life i would killmyself)

yup.. i go treeplanting, although its only seasonal, about 4-6 months a year or so.. but still i make $300/day.. but i bust my ass cause its all piecework (get between 10-18 cents a tree usually) but tell me of any other job where you can make so much money, get fed as much food as you can possibly eat (its good too), smoke pot with your supervisors on a daily basis with no chance of getting fired (its practically encouraged), drive ATVs and ride in helicopters as well as travel across the country for free...

i work for a landscaping company 2 days a week, i also work once a week for my dad's company doing home restorations.
the only two benefits to these jobs are that i stay in good shape and the pay is decent. otherwise, i cant wait for september so i can get the hell out of both these places.

EV Logistics which supplies all of the save-on-foods with food, pop, and almost everything else but produce.
seriously this is the worst job in the lower mainland. you drive a pallet jack and build a skid up to maybe seven feet tall with the boxes and shit and all of them are different sizes and weights and shit. you have to go so fast because you are timed by the computer and it is un fair because they give you enough time to make 1 or 2 mistakes but the warehouse isn't even laid out properly. you start off getting these big thin bent boxes filled with potatoe chips and you have no choice but to stack thgem up on your skid, then you start getting these fucking heavy ass boxes that just crush the chip boxes and you have no time to take the skid down and re-build it plus you really dont want it to fall voer while your going around a corner. you get treated like a dog by supervisors and managers and good luck talking to anyone to help pass the time cuase you dont have a second to whaste plus everyone is a bitter asshole anyways.... well almost everyone. actually im sure there is much worse but this job really sucks and brings you down. you have this ear piece connects to a computer telling you what to get and where to get it and it talks to you non stop all day and it sounds like a really fast version of that female voice benny banassi uses in his songs all the time. you have to talk back to this computer thing becasue it is programed to recognize your voice and i swear they have it recording what you say becasue a few times i have stopped and been like "fuck i hate this stupid job" or i've said "the supervisors are a bunch of cock suckers" then all of a sudden some supervisor is right there watching me and following me around. trust me you get no respect from anyone at this job even if you can do it fast. it is a jim pattison business so that explains why it is hell for the workers. you cant do anything, there are cameras everywhere, supervisors walking up and down the warehouse and they will come and watch you do your job and mark shit down on a clipboard and that is extremely annoying. i have done landscaping before back in 2001 and being out in the rain planting trees and shrubs is funner then being indoors doing this warehouse shit. it seriously sucks so bad. i hope everyone else who works in a warehouse has it better then the people at this place that i work at. EV Logistics Sucks.

some of the people that work there seriously suck at building skids. i cant tell you how many times i've unwrapped a 7ft tall skid and had it all fall over on me. next time you see someone build a grocery skid for 971#, please smack them in the face for me.

i went to work w/ my step dad for a day.. lol he is working at the SFU campus in surrey.. installing all the wooden things.. like desks, cabinets, stuff like that...
but.. that was my job.. but my buddy gave me a call bout a job.. i start 2morrow.. high rise painter and such.. well 2morrow ima be starting off spraying all the cars w/ this spray so that if paint drops on the cars it wont damage it.. u kno... its better then mcdonalds... i refuse to work there.. plus.. working labour.. i can say im working for my money and mean it.. u kno wut im sayinggggg
