I was 22, but I was only 2.5 months shy of 23.

Things finally got too rough between my mom and I, then the opportunity arose so I moved.

Mental note: Moving out at Xmas without a financial cushion, baaaaaaad idea.

First time I was out of the house was 14, then out at 17. I think I moved home at 21, and then back out at 23. Then back home, in and out a few times. Kinda at home for the past 3 years. Mind you I spend less then %50 of my nights here, so legal I don't live at "home".

i was addicted to coke,rock,and jib...i did quite a bit of heroin for a while but never smoked it or main lined.

I might even sugest if you parents don't charge you rent,,, to rent a place, don't out right tell them. Party there, and eat free meals store you shit, and get quite nights at home

Well I'm in school taking lots of hard science classes, and although I want to move out soooooooo badly, it's just not a good idea for me to work so much while going to school. Luckily my parents are pretty awesome and it's not *so* terrible to live at home.....but still I dream of the day when I get to have my own place.

i'm still livin at home with my dear ol ma - and im 24.

on one hand i feel like it's time to get the hell out of here and start being independant.

but on the other hand, i've got the rest of my life to deal with paying bills and trying to make ends meet.

i'm not in any rush to get out of here, i've actually got a pretty sweet deal going on. i pay whatever rent i can afford, get to eat moms kick ass cookin, and have practically all the freedom of living on my own.

My mom doesn't want me to leave, but I'm planning on moving out with a good friend hopefully by the new year.

2 years later after being back w/ my parents, i decided to move out on my own again... i've been doing that since.

I was ready to move out at 16 and had places to go, however my parents weren't ready, and rather than watch them cry every time I talked about leaving I sucked it up and played by their rules and left the day I graduated highschool... I've never looked back. My parents actually regret not letting me leave when I wanted to because we get along sooo much better now.

Currently living at home and will be living at home for the next two years until I finish up my program at Capilano.
Once that's done I'll move out, I don't care how hard or often I have to work.. one thing I know is that I can't deal with roommates or living with other people, I have to have my own place.

i moved out when i was 19....got kicked out after 6 months...moved home again...then when i was 20 i moved out again, lasted 4 months, then moved to another place, that lasted 2 months, then moved to another place, that lasted a month and a half, then moved to another place, that lasted 3 weeks...now im staying with my aunt and uncle and have been for hte past 6 months...but in the 1st im grabbing my own place again.

I lived on my own in Fort Nelson when I was working up there when I was 18. After I quit my Job I moved back home. I was informed by my Parents that it's time for me to move out in October this year. So yah... I moved out when I was 18, back when I was 19... and now I have to be out again at 21.

I'm 22 (23 tomorrow though!)I still live with my parents. but I have it pretty good over here. Rent free. My bedroom is downstairs. I own my own car. and I spend about 80% of the nights over at my boyfriend's place. I would love to move out, closer to school, but that's so much extra cost that I don't spend right now. In about a year when I finish my program at BCIT I'll be out on my own for sure though.

i moved out when i was 18. it wasnt what i wanted,its was what my mom wanted. she booted me out. but it hink i grew up alot faster that way!! before that i ran away many times tho, during high school.
