can someone help me choose some good courses .... what are some good courses to take in grade 11

i wouldn't let strangers on the internet choose courses for me. look at the list and pick out ones that sound interesting.

plus every highschool offers different classes.

i took both 11 and 12 in the same year.

biology is a breeze. just memorize everything.

for u science credit if ur school offers it take earth science 11 or tech 11 for ur science credit if u suck at sciences. biology usually is the easier of the 3 main courses because its basiclly memory. just take what u want to take. nobody else should be planning this for u.

find what a program ur interested in for college/university.. and see what the prereq's are for the first year courses,, then u know what u need to do good in...and what grades u need to get into the university and the program

take hard subjects in grade 11

so u can do easy shit in grade 12.. when it counts for post secondary

i took a class where you get to take apart a lawnmower and put it back together.

i cant even begin to explain how useful and relevant it is in everyday life.

oh and sometimes we got to give teachers' cars oil changes.

i pee'd in their gas tanks.

I took Film and Television. That was a sweet course. We made a bunch of halarious clips and some not soo good ones. A few friends and I have stock piled footage of all the outtakes and just random moments on camera.

I agree find out what your going to be taking in college/university if you plan on going.

Than figure your coarses according to your needs, and what you want.

HAHA earth science is the biggest cop-out out of all the science courses in grade 11! when kids are picking their brains apart with the anatomy of the human body in BIO11, kids in earth science are the lazy hippies picking up rocks and tripping out on them.

Grade 11 is a pretty difficult year ...

Make sure you take courses you know that your going to be interested in.

Make sure you take some fun courses in there to mix it up a little! Straight academic classes all semester is NO good.

Not sure how it works here , but physed 11 (or 20) was co ed.


It makes it that much more fun, and also sets you up for outdoor ed and phys ed 12 which = ski/hiking trips, scuba diving, white water rafting etc.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to take an automotive course, if your highschool offers it, that or an equivalent tech course. You can never know too much about auto repair. It helps alot down the road. Plus, as Akeel said, pissing in teachers' gas tanks...definite perk.

lmfao - thank god i didn't have to resort to getting advice from a raver message board when deciding what course to take in high school.

decide for yourself - take something that you're interested in and might actually enjoy.
