That's what I said. It helps if they at least have a License. Sure none of us are Model Drivers 100% of the time (I'm sure as hell not... those of you that have driven with me know this...) but still... why are 14 Year Olds doing this sort of crazy shit?! I remember when I was 14, none of us were that stupid, stealing Cars and other such activities.

Last time I checked, and correct me if I'm wrong (because I KNOW you Americans and your laws are far loopier than ours), but when someone takes a car that belongs to another person WITHOUT their knowledge or permission, that is considered THEFT. Period. Add in the fact that a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD was driving (who can't even get a learner's at that age I bet) at VERY high speeds (3 times the fucking speedlimit?!?!?!), and you just have a whole situation of NOT GOOD.

As for blame, yeah, you can blame someone. You can blame the fucking kids for being retarded. I'm sorry your friends got hurt...I really am. But maybe this'll wake them up and make them realize that you can't do shit like this and get away with it. They'll all be lucky if they don't get charged with Grand Theft Auto or Theft Over $5000 (or whatever you guys call it down there).

I hope your friends get better, but I also hope this wakes them up to a little dose of reality.

alright... they did tell this girl to slow the fuck down and she didnt... whatever, im not going to argue about blame, yeah it was hella stupid for that girl to drive around, but what do u mean at least she only hurt herself? there were 8 kids in that car... and they all got hurt.. okay 2 walked away with mad bruises... anyway, i only put this thread up here, well i dont even know why, i was just feeling so awful (and still am) that i wanted people to read about their story. sarah was a great girl, and most of these kids (minus the 14 yr old) are as well... i just wanted them to be known about, and to bring attention, yet again, to how important it is to keep your head straight and be smart about things...

I think they ment other drivers. Not the other kids that chose to be in that car willingly.
They made a very bad decision, and payed the price. If they even had to think twice about what they were getting themselves into. Then they needed the wake up call. Im just sorry that someone had to loose their life in the process.
