All players in the NHL have their last names or first name and last i nitial on the back lol. I don't get why we don't either.

The color is ugly thogh its the same ugly yellow as the boston bruins jersey. No offense to anyone who likes that color. Besides isn't Canada suppose to be about the Red, and White

The Orca whale for the Canucks, so ugly but its accepted cause we live here and its out team.

AGREED.

The orca looks constipated, gritting its teeth and all. The skate was the best hands down. When I was younger I had no idea what it was for the longest time until my dad told me. lol.

yea the skate was by far the sweetest ever. the black skate jersey is my favorite hockey jersey.

haah the boston bruins colors. their jersey with the bear on it is wack. it doesnt even look like a mean bear. mroe like a teddy bear. looks like their trying to be cute

cause it's new retro back then they didn't use the names so that they could reuse the jersey's with different players, besides whats wrong with putting Canada on the back of the jersey too

ya but for the canucks last season they brought back the vintage jersies...but it still had their names on it.

its just confusing...with the canucks it would be ok if their names werent on the back cause i can easily identify them by their numbers..

but when its guys from all different teams its too hard..

I do believe in 1929 they didn't have names on the back though. Don't quote me on that this is just knowledge off the top of my head that I remember seeing from pass classics.

What i'm curious to know is why they have that bloody winnipeg patch on their shoulder.

WHY WINNIPEG WHY NOT VANCOUVER. There is NHL franchise there no more because they oh yea... SUCK.

They may not have had names on the backs on jersies in the 20's but they should now. Anyways the jersey's they are wearing against Slovakia look way better. Retro or not

Generally speaking majority players on team Canada just reverse their numbers on their Jersey.

EG. Joe Sakic - #19 usually but #91 in the World Cup
Simon Gange - #12 usually but #21 in the World Cup

winnipeg did. this was their jersey. and i don't see how it's not canandian. there's a maple leaf on the front and it says CANADA in big letters on the back.

what good would it do to have it say vancouver? it's the same thing.
