the milky way!!

when I was away, I could see the sky so clear in a way I had never seen it before..I've been in non city places before but nothing even compared to how I saw it..it was beautiful...and when you walked along the sand it glowed because of the flosflercant lights..
I dont know...I think seeing nature like that is a special really cool thing!

Everytime I look at the upper left of Sagitarrius, I realize I'm looking at the centre of the galaxy.

Being able to spot the Andromeda Galaxy even in city lights is pretty cool, too.

Still, I'd quite like to live to see a supernova light up the daytime sky. Apparently our galaxy is overdue for one. Antares is a promising contender. :)

whenever i go treeplanting, i can always see crazy shit happening in the sky at night, its always so clear and you can see everything in so much detail. I've also seen some pretty crazy northern light shows as well.. i remember one night in athabasca, Alberta when the entire sky was covered with flourecent green and purple wavy light, it was one of the most intense things i've ever seen in my life.

I saw the northern lights this summer out at Kalamalka Lake!

I felt really lucky to be able to see them.

its very beautiful... but for some reason it makes me realize how far away we are, then I get agoraphobic... its weird...

When we were waiting inline fore shambhala and bunch of us.. well our entire crew pretty much took all our blanket and laid them down.. we alllaid down n watched a meteor shower while drikin n shit.. was chill n fun!
