There is a serious lack of discretion where rumours are concerned in our already fragile scene. It results in bickering, attitudes, fights, and tarnished reputations.

What can you do?

To start with... if you ever here that this person said that about that person or that person said this about this person, or he/she said this about that... ignore it.

If it doesn't directly involve you don't get involved. Leave it to the people who are saying it to answer to the appropriate people at the appropriate time. Remember... we are a culture of people who, as far as I can tell, believe very heavily in Karma. Let Karma come back around in it's own time...

Rockwell, while I agree 100% with what you are saying (the scene needs to get back a little PLUR, with an emphasis on the R), and WHP has borne the brunt of a lot of gossip and heresay in the past, WHP does not fill and has no intentions any sort of filling any kind of authoritative role in brokering between gossiping and back-talking factions within the scene.

in a perfect world, that would be awesome. but of coarse this world isnt even close to being perfect. bein a teenager is all about who you can put down to make yourself look better. i think its a load of bullshit, but really, there's nothing you can do about it. people gossip without even knowing it... trust me i try to stay far away from it as possible, but its impossible to get rid of it alltogether, you just gotta live with it.. schools starting soon, and summer was your chance to get away from it all, and now its over, back to the drama, and back to the gossip... of coarse it sucks big ass, but that's life

Say if some one is fucking other people over, stealing durgs or shit. My friend warns me. It would be stupid if I did not listen to her.
