AWOL - Alcohol without liquid technology...
Oh the joys of new inventions. A machine has been invented that allows you to become "mildly" drunk without having to drink anything!! Anyone else heard anything about this yet? It's called the AWOL Machine.
Apparently it doesn't leave you with a hangover either!! Hey that's the reason why I hardly get drunk anymore - its gotta be the worst hangover of all things I reckon. Like all new technology it isn't cheap though. Some $3000 USD for a 2 person machine. I wonder if it'll catch on and if it'll get cheaper eventually. Alcohol inhailation
I was waching a news program on TV a few months ago about people inhailing alcohol somewhere over in europe. They say that there has not been enough research done to see if it is a safe way to ingest the alcohol. I would still like to try it though.

It's been around for a while, and if you get drunk enough in any way you will get some form of a hangover because you're brain is coming down off the alcohol....
But this does put my excellent cheap man's martini back into the spotlight... this machine uses pure ethanol which you can buy at your local drugstore because it also happens to make good rubbing alcohol (you really need to make you get ethanol though and not iso-propanol which will kill you). I say screw the machine, but still use the $3, 500ml (2/3 of a 26 oz) bottle of pure wonderful alcohol and mix with cranberry juice or anything you'd like! You will get drunk very fast and save $3000, not to mention you won't be free-basing alcohol.
