okay so i am really bored with my hair.. i have never highlighted or anything and my hair is really blonde.. does highlighting damage your hair alot? im not even really sure what difference highlights would make to my hair. is it worth 100$ and what is full head and half head highlights?

just goto a stylish hair place and say do whatever looks good. each stylist goes through at least 4 heads a day, everyday. they've seen every fashion on every type of person. they know what looks good.

I don't know a LOT about hair, but I have had my hair done quite a few times. Since your hair is blonde, it is probably fairly easy to work with. Highlighting and coloring your hair aren't nearly as damaging as bleaching it. Maybe you could try a brown color for a change, or try some darker highlights or even some reddish highlights. If this were Calgary, I could tell you a few places to go.......

Salons that are chains nationwide are good, but they are super expensive. However, it has also been my experience that salons that sell Aveda products are also good. They are expensive too, however. It all depends on what you are willing to spend. LAst time I was here, I went to this cheap place beside Phase 1 video in Delta....and the bitch totally butchered my hair! Iw ouold have rathered dish out the money and get a good haircut.

mine is about 130 every 3 months. it's worth every single penny.

if you're unsure, try getting highlights only a shade or two lighter than your hair color, if you like it, then do it lighter next time :)
