This is the underground rave scene people. It's unfortunate that these things happen but it's exactly that shit happens but it's how the situation is handled after this type of a shitty situation that means everything.

In addition, I will not be throwing together a club night or a 19+ only event, because I know a lot of the ticket holders are under age. Unlike some promoters, I recognize this fact and am not going to make a half ass attempt at appeasing only a small portion of the people that purchased tickets.

I'm sure if you were a well respected promoter who decides to have a make up night/party at a Club with Headliners don't want to risk disappointment with the booking agencies as well as the talent they booked. If you were to re-book a headlining DJ at another underground party what's the chance of it getting shut down again? HIGH.

That being said, why bring up other companies in the past that have done it?

They have their reasons as you have yours.

I stand behind Money on this one. I can say firsthand that he isn't a "scam artist" like some of you here are suggesting. Throwing events in this town is f***ing HARD WORK, ESPECIALLY with licentious oppurtunistic sleazeball venue owners looking to make life a living nightmare by doing things like "double booking" their venue and realizing at the "last minute" and stating there really isn't anything they can do unless you wave more cash in their face. Or how about doubling the cost of renting the venue day of? Oh yeah, we've had that happen to us in our day on more occasions than we'd like to admit.

Cut him some slack people. There will be a makeup party. And when you go you can leave your bad attitude at the door.
