book recomendations, by person or if anyone knows a good site...

k, so i have a small problem,
i dont know anyone who likes the same style books that i like. that also makes it hard to get good recomendations.
ive tried the 'people who bought this book also bought...' thing on amazon and barnes n noble or whatever but i find there way off.
stuph ive loved:

picture of dorian gray-oscar wilde
heart of darkness-joseph conrad
against nature-J.K Husymans
day of the triffids-?
go ask alice-?

the last two i read a long time ago but yah, i dono if that gives anyone an idea of what im reading. if anyone out there is likeing the same type of stuph what else is good to read?

and if anyone knows a good site that would do the same sort of thing that would be sick yo werd crazy fresh pimped skizzle.
