Anonymous Karma

I think im going to reinstate anonymous karma. This isnt the first time I have gotten this, as im use many of you have. BAD KARMA IS THERE TO BE GIVEN! I have lots out each day and im right sick of getting bad karma back strickly on the base "oh you gave it to me" or moronic PM's such this below. If you got it from me, you probally deserved it. I need to do some serious drinking and figure out some new route. This non-anonymous shit is wack!

Also im well aware of the fact I had originally turned off anonymous abilities, but that was based on a small potion of FNK'ers who couldn't use it collectively.

make karma anonymous to everyone..

cept for u.. so u can view each members karma... so in case sum1 says sumthin racial/sexiest/offensive.. u kno those things.. and they report it to u.. u can easily jus look at their karma and see who wrote it..

get wut im saying?

I dont want massive amounts of people to PM me based on their karma comments. I have enough shit as it is. Thinking about a report link, where you can report offencive comments. Then when bad karma is given and is deserved, there wont be all this revenge karma!

no, not in the least!

karma system was created to be a factor of how positive or negative your posts were.

posting dumb things, out of conversation, wrong place, ect
these are what bad karma should be given for.

Replace it with "Best ass" or "Worst hair colour" dots instead.

From whut it looks like form all the karma givers myles and I are the only ones that dont take it personally.. like give your friends bad karma if you disagree with wut they say!! ugh!

i love that time when you turned off anonymous karma and you could see everyone who gave you bad karma when they didn't want you too... that was fun

The thing with Karma is that no matter if you make it anon. or not, people are going to spaz out if they get bad karma either way. I remember before it was really annoying seeing the amount of threads where someone was like 'OH SOMEONE GAVE ME BAD KARMA AND IT SAID THIS' and I think even to the admins that is fairly irritating. I like the idea of the named karma because its like me being able to give props for something I think was great, and sometimes I just want to leave the karma and not say anything, I like just leaving the blank warm fuzzies. I also like the idea of the named bad karma because I'll only give it out if someone is particularly deserving of it (ie I really disagree with what is put forward) and I think that it creates less tension on the board as a whole. I think it shows more strength of character as a whole if people can give out bad karma knowing the person will see their name beside it, so good on you snyx!

So I dunno, I like things the way they are, but it could get verrry interesting the other way round.
