Pain beyond belief.
I know nobody wants to read the details of everybodys life on this board, but if people can post about buying new pants , then I can post about this , damnit.
This morning i was climbing around on a roof that is clad in steel flashing. It was wet and i was still a little groggy. I slipped down a small incline and fell on to a piece of the flashing that was raised about two inches. My entire body weight transfered to my shin and knee which were the first to impact. The flashing acted like a knife , cutting a gash down to the bone from the bottom of my knee and continuing for about 9 inches. Before i even looked down I knew it was bad.....when i looked i sawa gaping wound about 7 inches long and3 inches wide , my bone was fully exposed and the cut was so clean that there was barely any blood. At that point i felt pain like I have never experienced in my entire life. I just got home from the ER where I got a ton of stitches, The nurse too pictures and is going to Email them to me tonight.....so you can all see what i had to look at all morning. The freezing in my leg is wearing off now......this is going to suck. Have a good day!

Aww larwance thats really REALLY gotta hurt. I cant belive you managed to type that... its making me shake. Ive got some rum here Id love to give to yeah... but I assume your all the way in whiterock :/ You take good care, get lots of rest, and take it easy. Wish you the best in recovering!

Daaaaamn.
I can somewhat relate, I've had a pretty bad work injury a gash to the side of my lower back with a shitload of stitches as well, lol I actually thought for a little bit that I might die, I was scared and in so much pain. :( Well, don't worry man, you'll be back on your feet soon, next time you work (if you still work in roofing) you'll be alot more careful. But doing that kind of stuff in the morning must really suck ass. Other than that, are you gunna go to WCB or what?

This reminds me of the time i got 2 of my fingers crushed by a steel roller they were fucked but i didn't feel anything cause of shock, i freaked out though cause they were pointing in direction's that they shouldn't. I had to get surgery on them i still have titanium in there.

Holy Shit! WCB that to the max man... You deserve some paid time off anyways, unfortunately I thought you'd take Vacation instead of something like this happening.

As bad as that sounds there is still pain you can feel that is many, many times worse than that.

Most pain I have physically felt was when my dentist was cleaning the inside of my dead molar during a root canal.
She touched the inside of my gum with the file and I felt my body just jump off the chair and saw a flash of bright light. Next thing I knew I was covered in sweat. Can anyone say anxiety attack when she started working on the tooth again?
