Tradex?

Well I was just wondering why the tradex center in Abbotsford never gets used to party. For obvious its far away reason no transit, etc. I understand. But just wondering it it's not up to code or just not allowed. Curious.

Someone said in a thread about this a while back that the city council there would not approve anything they thought would be too wild. Square dancing yes, raves no. Very conservative and religious local population.

They had the Spooky thing last year in Chillywack at the equivalent of Tradex.

Anyone know anything about City Lights - that downtown Abby club? Do they have a good sound system? Are they open most nights or just certain events?

yah, and it's even getting worse. They only play rock music really and top 40 on the weekends if you're lucky. It's mostly all live bands now. The salads came there, and Billy Talent. I guess it's actually getting better, in it's own little way. It's closed on some weeknights. It's pretty lame but whatever I guess it works for them. And then of course there is Station Pub, which I think actually isn't a bad place, they've got a good system (way better than City Limits) but the people there just make me sad inside.
