So last night.. I'm at my parents.. they were out with my bro for some sort of afterschool activity.. or something.. and I nwas at they're place alone watching a movie, Secret Window.

I'm sitting there.. after the first 15minutes of the movie, when Johnny Depp finds his dog...

THE TV TURNS OFF!

I dunno how but it did. And the romote was in the middle of the floor and I was on the couch...I dont get it.

anyways.. I turned the TV back on and finished watching the movie.. I jsut dont get how TV turns off by it's self.

I'm thinkin the sleep timer was set accidentally. My TV does the same thing sometimes. Before it even warms up and shows the picture, it will turn off.

ohyah thats pretty creepy what happened to yah bitchin i know id be freaked out ..like everyone else said it probably was the timer and someone set it to freak yah out or something haha..

I had an old TV that used to turn off alot. It also would change back to channel 3 no matter what channel you were watching. Imagine how annoying that is. A TV turning off is nothing scary. In my old house the bathroom tap would turn on full blast on it's own. Now that is scary.

We have a piano downstairs that constantly plays the keys by itself. No! It's not one of those pianos that plays by itself, it's just a regualer one.

Common explanation for this is that the strings and everything inside the piano are loosening and tightening. But I have only ever heard it at night and it definatly sounds as though someone is pushing a key. It's not a faint or barely noticeable sound.

I should set my video camera up with the night vision and film it for the duration of the night...

my t.v is fucked too...it turns off and on randomlly and even sometimes when try and turn it off just the screen shuts off but the sound stays on..its kinda creepy..

Sometimes TV manufacturers make it way to easy to turn on/off and set sleep timers on at TV. So when some dumb-ass sits on the remote or something, it turns on the sleep timer and sets it for a wonky time.

Thing is.. I didn't even use the romote.. is was on the middle of the floor and I turned on the TV manually, cause I had to turn on the DVD player n shit..

So I dont think it was the timer.. Idunno..

that's pretty creepy, but one time I was sunday night sketchin in my basement suite by myself, playin video games with all the lights off when the light in the room at the end of the hall suddenly turned on out of nowhere... I hadn't even touched the light all day and I knew nobody else was home. It took me a little while and a large knife later to go check it out but I figured out I had left the lightswitch perfectly in the middle of on and off and eventually (after a day and a half) it flicked itself on... that was fuckin creepy though.

And Jovi, your tv is probably just getting old if it wasn't your sleep timer, these things do happen.
