Near the finale of LoungeX's decline, Al made a lot of promises that he wasn't gonna be able to keep, and ultimately decided to stop throwing parties and running the website altogether. He was promising discounts and free tickets to up to 5 shows in the upcoming year, about one of which actually happened.

All it'll really take is some situation that'll piss you guys off enough to say "You know what? This isn't fucking worth it," and then goodbye raver message forum.

The onus is not on you to keep things going, though. It's on all of us. And I'm fairly certain that the ravers will find some other hangout online to pick it apart. Maybe everybody'll move to the ishboard or something. Won't that be a treat?

My guess is when it get way to expensive to run this board anymore ( I'm guess that the advertising and such pays for the hosting/traffic/etc )
It could eventually get way to big and way too busy to maintain.

Or a nasty virus wips out the database and we are all forced to resign-up again and begin a new forum.
