oh that stupid timmy! eh? real mature buddy. you can't talk about sports without throwing personal insults? i have respect for real redsox fans, and i'm happy for them. however, i dont have respect for people who suddenly jump on the bandwagon for a sport they know little about.

You make it sound like I don't know anything about sports. You should do some more research on who your talking about before you go and run your mouth.

I can talk about almost any sport anytime... who the hell said I'm a real redsox fans. I'm not I want the Cardinals to win, but I already stated in one of my previous posts if there is one team i don't want to win it all. Its the Yanks.

I hate them and am glad they lost. THE END.

p.s: your still stupid haha

first of all, it really annoys me when people hate on fans that may not know as much as you about a sport. just because someone doesn't memorize stats or have as much knowledge about a sport or team doesn't make them any less of a fan.

i've been watching red sox games since i was about 7 years old. i have one whole side of my family in boston and i've been going over there all my life every summer. i've seen probably 15+ red sox games at Fenway Park. do i claim to know a lot of shit about baseball? hell no.

but you're fucking kidding yourself if you think i'm not a real fan.

that comment i made was directed towards kenji. like i said i have respect for boston fans, they are probably the best fans in all sports. they've stayed loyal with them through all the losing. however i don't have respect for people who just seem to follow what other people say or what they hear.

well hey if that was true more power to him. i enjoy a good argument over sports as well as anyone. the minute someone takes it too seriously and starts throwing the insults, is when i fire right back.

Whoopie doo 26 world championship.

Montreal Canadians have 23 Stanley Cups, 24 by some peoples counts, and trust me its harder to win the Stanley Cup, because A: You need 16 wins, not 11 like you do in the world series playoff's. Secondly overtime is decided by goal. You don't get a chance to come back once the opposition scores on you. All the rounds are best of 7 formats. Not a best of 5 and two best of 7's.

Its 4 rounds of the best of seven format in the NHL.

Not taking anything away from baseball. It is tough though in baseball cause all the games are one after the other, as opposed to the hockey playoff's which is usually one game every two days and one game with a two day break between.

There are good teams everywhere. Just in baseball the yankee's seem to always get the last laugh till now.

Hockey teams can be stacked and still not win it, cause the playoff's are just that hard.

not to mention baseball is a joke compared to hockey, hockey players put there bodies threw hell during the playoffs. and ya the stanley cup is not only the hardest trophy in pro sports to win its also the phatest!!!

montreal won a great majority of their cups with a six team league. back in the day in baseball only the winners of national league and american league would play each other. no wild card teams, no a.l.d.s. right now 16 nhl clubs have a shot at a cup, baseball 8 teams have a shot at a ring. do the math.

btw hockey is my favourite sport, but i would never go as far as saying it's harder to win. maybe on your body, but the odds are against you in terms of even playing in the playoffs.
