PST back down to 7% today.

http://www2.news.gov.bc.ca/nrm_news_...035-000876.htm

starting today.. pst is 7% instead of 7.5%

make sure you don't over pay on what you buy!

Man I totally misread the headline and thought the PST was slashed BY 7%

I was thinking ".5% pst, SWEET!"

This savings really doesn't mean all that much, but I guess every little bit helps.

They were saying that the savings for a family of four, would be roughly $80/year.

I love it when people get all excited about small cuts like this. Granted, it IS better than nothing, but it was SO funny when I came in to work this morning and all the ladies were discussing it with excitement. Then I broke it to them that the average savings would only be $80/year per household...they looked kinda like "What?!" heh.

unless you plan to buy something pretty big in the future. besides, it's better than nothing.
