Canucks/Mafia?

I'm not sure of the motivation behind this clip but it seems rather odd that the Canucks would want to promote their franchise as being associated with a mobster. Take a look and see what you think, http://canucks.com/subpage.asp?sectionID=476 It says that among other things Coley Hall made money at his Hotels through high stakes poker games in the back room and that he would rather pull a knife on you that sue over a dispute.
