chop live sets into tracks?? I have a few live sets and i have the track list and everything, i just wanna chop em into tracks. Anyone know how to do this? what program to use? still keep em in the mp3 format?

any help would be apreciated. thanx

find an mp3 splitter that will split the file into the lengths that you specify. some splitters will only split the file up into equal lengths, ie 5 mins.
the hard way, if you have the cue file burn it to cd and rerip it to mp3

I use wavelab to cut my brothers demos into tracks

kind of a manual process though. You could practially do it in Windows Sound Recorder

Make a cuesheet and burn the mp3 with it.

If you want an example go download a cuesheet from my mp3. It should be pretty clear how it is structured.

If the burning program accepts cuesheets then it'll automatically place a trackstop at the time you specify. This was you get the whole mp3 cut without the annoying 1 second gap some people have.

I use CDR Cuesheet editor to make all my cuesheets for mp3's if I can't find one. This way I can cut the mp3 into the chunks I like.
