it was 5 hours cuz of the wind knocking out lights and shit... traffic was a whore, and i missed my last bus home because of it... so i went to the mall and did some shit, then took 3 other buses to get home...

I know what you mean. I don't drive so rely on the bus a lot. There's been a few times where I was stranded and had to wait till 8ish the next day. Especially if it's a Sunday morning and the odd parties getting busted or worse case not finding the place and being totally stranded. Not much is open, the skytrain and busses have stopped running *blah*
How about taking 3-4hrs during rush hour from richmond to where i am. And also, just around midnite, it can take me that long on a sunday.
As for missing busses, too many times especially late @ nights. I have waited an hour or so if I just missed the faster bus to get home.

What a hassle!! But then i got to think, taking the bus is much cheaper than a owning a car. That's the benefits even if there is lack of service. :219:
