Glowsticks Should Be Allowed To Be Brought Into A Party!!!!
For those of you who are pissed off about having your glowsticks, that are your PERSONAL PROPERTY, being turfed into a garbage can with no deposit no return method by the security please stand up! I mean..I have been to some massives where the spirit of partying was ENCOURAGED by allowing you to bring your own glowing artifacts in was a POSITIVE THING, but to have NO OPTION but to PAY HIGHER for some stupid sticks without any chance of bringing in your own is a joke! Seriously! I think that people should be allowed to bring in their glowsticks and as a BACKUP OPTION FOR THE PROMOTORS to have a stand where they sell their glowsticks should be allowed. I feel too bossed around by the "EVENT HOSTERS" people. Change the rules so that we may have more fun without spending rediculous amounts of money on OVERPRICED sticks! PLEASE LET US BRING IN OUR OWN GLOWSTICKS WITHOUT HAVING THEM TURFED AT THE DOORS! thank you!

obviously he does. personally I dont use glowsticks, but yeah I agree, they should be let in, I dont see how your own personal property can just be chucked into the garbage without any warning.
I mean you were allowed to bring in your own water bottles, so I dont see why you cant bring in some stupid glowsticks. I guess Solid should put up a special sign in front of the lineups saying 'No glow'. LOL!

i don't really care much for glowsticks, but thats not cool to not let ravers bring in their own glowsticks. I mean what harm do glowsticks do other than look ridiculous or whatever.
Its not like kids are hiding drugs in them, i honestly hate glowsticks but i see no point in not letting people who brought their own glowsticks into the party.

If you look at what you have already said you can see the solution to your problem.
1) You said glowsticks are stupid. So why the hell do you care if they are thrown out? 2) You said you work hard for your money. So why the hell are spending it on glowsticks? If you look at it this way you will see how dumb you sound.

I had red ones..i finally found red glowsticks and they just threw them out, and then instead i get two little..tiny.. overcharged glowsticks that didnt even work for more than a couple hours. stupid security:(

ya, me and my friends were rather pissed off that they tossed our glowsticks...we come from the island to party, we go pick up some sticks...the 3 of us together spent prolly $35'ish on glowsticks, to just have them tossed out..they didnt even lemme get something that was in the bag when they threw it away, like...wtf kinda shit is that, if yer gonna have some crap ass rule that glowsticks are gonna be tossed out, then atleast make it known to everyone. That just wasnt cool

buddy^ they were sold out of glowsticks around 1 am or so....I say let the people bring in their own glowsticks..and for those who run out of glowsticks or for those who who didn't bring in any...HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY AT A MUCH HIGHER COST! just like buying a ticket at the door at a high price you have the OPTION to purchase a glowstick or two at a rip-off discount :)

not everyone goes out and buys glowsticks though, they assume there'll be some at the party so some just get them there...like john said, it should be a BACK UP for those people that dont have glowsticks..
i honestly thought it was complete bullshit that they threw away all of our glowsticks, but other people we were talking to in line got their glowsticks in...its so fucking stupid, they shouldnt have some stupid "no glowstick" rule...and if they do, tell us about it b4 hand so we dont waste money.. shit, saturday was such a weird/sketchy day.....first gettin bitched out by some girl, then gettin hailed on in the lineup, then gettin our glowsticks thrown away, then being followed by diff groups of guys(seemed like they wanted to kick my ass...so i sat at stage 4 from 3:45 till the end) then after the party those same guys were waiting for me outside...wut a fucked up time.... ya, i had a GREAT time *thumbs up* Last edited by Oscar Da Grouc; Nov 02, 04 at 12:47 AM.

its so fuked.. like at freaknight, they took my vic's... okay i GUESS thats understandable...SORTA... they took my UN-OPENED CHAPSTICK, because they said no one could have mentholated chapstick.. which is bull, because mine wasnt even medicated.. it was sunscreen and lip balm for christs sake... they took abuncha my friends stuff too and just threw it away, like her perfume, half gone and everything.. its like DUDE its BODY SPRAY.. u think ima put acid in it and drink perfume??? thats jus fucked up... man, people who have to try THAT hard to get their shit in, shouldn't be takin it anyway... stupids tards and there being like a million of them... i watched 6 ppl get arrestd fer tryina sneak in pills...
