^^^^ ME TOO, fragility tour

Do you remember when 'the wretched' came on and the screen panels behind the stage started moving upwards with this crazy electricity visual on it ....

or the visual were the picture on the screen was a camera travelling through water and the sky..

it was an amazing show, trent knows how to capitivate an audience, the overall mood and emotion of the concert had me hooked the entire time... i was row 4 right at the left corner of the stage... so it was PERFECT angled view, at the closet point to the stage. APC was dope too...

NIN is by far my all time favourite band.. im gonna buy all the cd's again as my old ones got scratched and lost, i just got closure kicking around somewhere.

This albulm is HIGHLY anticipated...what style of lyric writing he went towards, the production! the instruments! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhh

nah release is set for feb/march i believe.

FRAGILITY TOUR...
i was there too, on the floor standing near the sound booth, blitzed, dressed in all red and black. what a fucking show that was!!!

i'm kind of dissapointed about this second disc of TDS tho, since i have all but one of the so called "un released" rmx's anyways...

oh well, one more for the collection.

He also did the music for Doom 3...... as for the new album I'm very much looking forward to it. I saw NIN with Bowie in Seattle years ago and the show here at GM as well as the Vancouver show with Marilyn Manson and the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow.

From what I've read this album takes a turn towards the darker and heavier style of Downward Spiral and Pretty Hate Machine as opposed to the last effort 'The Fragile'. The reason it's taken so long is that Trent has devoted a lot of his time to a project with Dave 'Rave' Ogilvie called Jakalope. Its kind of a concept album with a bunch of different artists.... very dark, cerebral, industrial sort of rock..... with this wierd pop element added with a female vocalist. The album is called 'In Dreams' if anyone wants to check it out.

I'm a huge NIN fan and am ecstatic about the new release..... lets hope a tour isn't far behind!

well, not quite, he was actually asked to do the sounds (not the music) for doom III, whcih they used in the demo version last year
but then they had chris vrenna re do them and scrapped trent's. i have trent's sound pack for anyone who wants it, plus, i've also ripped them to mp3's,
for anyone who wants to hear them as just audio, only problem is, you need to slow them all down, cause the game codec uncompresses them.
(i'd say they are sped up by about %30)

ya i know he did the soundtrack and effects for quake but i also heard that when the original doom came out it pretty much halted production for a couple months and then afterwards when trent finally came around to touring he had a pc installed in his tour bus.
