if people read the contracts, asked questions and budget your minutes properly they would never cause a problem. idiots who sign contracts they can't possibly afford for phones they can't afford. easy way to avoid problems? oh i dunno pay your bills on time? but i guess that's the evil companies fault. (yea i know they make mistakes, but that's why you stay informed of your account)

it's just like credit cards, if worked properly you got the man paying you to use it. but people are irresponsible. simple as that.

re:city fido, wasn't the whole point no contract? how the hell can you have a 1 year contract on a plan that's main selling point was NO CONTRACT?

fuck karl i cant agree wiht u anymore then that. For years i hear peopel winning like little girls about their cell phone shit and their credit card. But plain and simple if u do it rite then there is no problem. I've been a cell phone user for 9 years and a user of 2 credit cards for another 3 years. I have never complained once because i do what u probably do as well. which is to be smart
