does drinking bring out the truth??

So everyone knows that when your drunk you don't hold back and so obviously the truth comes out at times..but some people say that everything that happens when alcohol is involved is how a person truly feels..I don't belive this because yes,sometimes i speak the truth but sometimes I just speack a bunch of bullshit..and I can honestly say that some things I do/say when drunk I would never do/think when I'm sober..

i think drinking brings out lowered inhibitions and completely erases common sense, not necessarily the truth though. just idiocy and the will to express said idiocy. :P

probably depends on the person. I'm about as honest as it gets when i'm sober, but when i'm REALLY drunk, i say exactly what i'm thinking, consequences be damned!
that's why i usually try not to get THAT drunk. :$

Yeah that's true too. Some times it comes out all wrong.. and you should definitely NOT have an important or serious convos when intoxicated. It complicate things further.

yes it does let ppl loosen up but when ur drunk it stimulates all ur "lower brain" or "primitive" areas .. so basically ur sex drive, emotional/sexual arousal, etc ... ur brain tends to listen to will rather than reason

thats where all the one night stands and fucking around and letting loose comes from when ur drunk .. u just basically let ur wild side take out ..it also reduces self control and if ur with people u become deindividuized so thats even less self control

werd chicky... i think drinkin can lower your inhibitions and make it easier to tell ppl str8 whats up.. however, its also easier to say whatever, whether its tru or not... so truth serum? NAH... LIQUID COURAGE? yes...

and u got it bout the shrooms... this one time, i str8 told this kid he was ugly and i didn't like him when i was trippin, then jus walked away... i can barely handle that kid when im sober let alone grillin balls... course mushies can make ppl seem ugly regaurdless... hahaa
