Honestly Id go with the Samsung, UNLESS you are going to go a bit higher and grab the Motorolla v300, then Samsung it is...
did those whole debate last week and it came down to these 2 phones as well, samsung had the better reviews.

I have the motorolla v400 and i compared it the the v200 my buddy has. the color on the screen is like night and day and so are the pictures if that's what your into. I think the features are the same. So i would say go with the samsung

k pryde straight up the x426 is a better phone. Better reception and all the rest. Yes the diference is that the samsung has no camera but the camera on the v220 is avg at best. for the price u pay for the v220 it is alright but overall the samsung is better. If you have interest im selling a Samsung 307 for $250. this phone is now discontinued and u wont be able to find it but i highly doubt u wanna fork out that much for a phone anyways. but if ur interested heres a pic of the phone. its look is similar to most samsungs but its thinner and smaller then them all.

damn thinking back i shoulda got the samsung... but i got the motorolla... i can send it back though i'm actually interested in samsung e316 or the nokia 6800 now... willing to spend a lil more money.

ya the nokia 3220 is a good phone. has a full keypad and it does look like a gaming machine, but its loaded with features. not to say that the other phones arent as good, if not better, but ive always just trusted nokia and their phones/reception.

motorola v 220 sucks.. my friend bought it for his gf.. if u are gonna go wit motorola go wit alteast v300. You will be disappointed wit the v 220's performance. The colours and camera on the phone are shitty as hell.

I've got the V220

The features are pretty good. The camera and photos are average. I think biggest res you can get is 680x400. Still, it serves me well.

coo lol. ive been a phone fanatic for years so i've have learned all. The best brands on the market rite now are definatly Nokia and Samsung. motorola is avg at best. have fun with the new phone. i think i've also decided to get a phone fomr ur peeps. yes a k phone lol. inno 55 perhaps
