Yeehaw!

New job as of Thursday. I'm so excited for this. I've been working six days a week for the past two years and it's all finally over. No more driving to Seattle twice a week (including Sat. mornings :( ), no more construction in the rain.

I went to an anniversary dinner for a friend last night and came out with an amazing new job. Inventory Analyst for the BC Provincial Health Services Authority. Awwwwww yeah! Working at Children's Hospital with a gov't job. Getting paid MAD cash just to start. I have no complaints at all.

Today is a good day!

My first day was today.... best fucking job ever.

Hours: 8-4
Schedule: 8:30-9 - coffee, 12-1 - lunch, 2-2:30 - coffee

That leaves 6 working hours left. During those 6 hours I have a crap load of random people walking into my office to BS with me. Each convo lasts 10-30 minutes. Overall an 8 hour day produces about 2-4 hours of real work. HOLY SHIT!

On top of that I get my music going, I can surf the intermaweb...... so rad. I've never had an office job in my life so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I've officially decided that this job = all out RADNESS.

Are those official coffee breaks and stuff? It's no wonder the government works so quickly on getting all our needs taken care of... i'm kinda jealous because I have to create my own coffee breaks.

how that department? any suggestions on which departsments are dope? I'm going to trust and safety and out of the 19 in my class i know 4 are going to fraud.
