i block people all the time, i dont care if they know or not. it's not like i block people for no reason. it's not my problem if they get offended because they annoyed me and i blocked them.

the phone is a little more personal than the internet, unless of course you go around dialing random numbers and talking to people you don't know?

like i said, i just think it's funny when people over-react to situations involving people they don't even know in real life.

msn isn't all there is to life. is that better stated? there are more (and better) forms of communication available, some people just don't seem to know how to use them.

I use msn to get ahold of people more so than I use a phone, but that is also because I don't have a phone. I guess msn is different to whoever depending on how they yse it.

I don't see what the problem with blocking someone. Sometimes when I was buisy with homework or whatever I blocked almost everyone except a few ppl. This one guy on my list sent me a bunch of nasty e-mails because I temporarly blocked him. When i explained why he still was being an ass. Now I'm scared to block anyone. Some ppl take msn way too seriously. It is more like realy life than fnk, but in real life you should have the option of deciding if you feel like having a conversation with a person at a certain time.

Blocking people isn't wrong or bad! That goddamn sound can really get annoying and even if you turn it off, you still have multiple windows popping up from some people you don't even know.

I solved this by going through my list and deleting everyone that I wouldn't normally talk to on the phone.

i have 4 diffrent phones at my dispense each with call waiting and even a fax, but still, i prefer msn. i talk to alot of people at once. text messaging is also used WAY TOO MUCH, but ahhhh, i would not survive without my TEXT WARS.

I block next to everyone on my msn list. They all know it. it's nothing against them it's just usually when im on the computer i don't have too much time because im either being bothered by someone else to go on the net or i'm at someone elses house checking my mail and i dont want to be rude and start to talk to people and ignore the one im with. So... i dunno... blocking isnt a big deal to me.
