and i have a couple questions


1. does the quality of disc count to how good or bad the audio will be?

2. how can i get rid of the 2second counter between songs, i tried one out on my dvd player but i cant tell if its the player or the disc that has the 2 second intervals between songs.!

No. Well, sort of. Bad discs might skip, or scratch easier, but CD audio is 16bit/44.1khz regardless of what brand of discs you use.

It's definitely the burner software.

If you're burning using Nero, right-click on the tracks, click on permissions, and you'll get a window. In that window, one of the form entries is "seconds between audio entries", and it's set to 2 - set it to 0. Do this for every track.

Almost all decent CD burning software has this kind of feature somewhere, you might have to break out the helpfile. I don't think straight-up Windows XP built-in burning stuff has this feature.

dont take the 2 second pause out of the first track, im not sure why, but i was told not to take it out
edit; i think it has something todo with the lead-in
