Ive been thinking for a while of reporting FNK to the RCMP. Alot of what gets posted on it is in bad taste and illegal as well. I dont doubt laws exist that could throw SNYX, their webmaster in jail. I dont hate the guy, but im just saying that if i were him id close down the site, or delete alot of the forum branches and implement some hardcore moderation, and especially (pains me to say this) shut down mchammered's fttp. I dont want to see him go to jail, but eventually something will happen involving some kid and drugs or pornography or sex, and his site will be connected....

Anyways, i dont think we can do anything. THe trance community (and society in general) is too fragmented... we are all independant people, self centered, and we all think what we like is the best, etc. Its like how all the kryptonians were their own nations (if u read superman). Getting an artist to come to van who comes into the scope of what enough people think is cool musically is damn near impossible.

THere is very little new explorartion, just me me me, i like this this this and only this. Im guilty of this, everones guilty of this.

Anyways. There is no solution to uniting the people we already have.
But if we bring in enough people (and keep them in) the scene, then maybe, just maybe, trance can survive as a big market a few more years as the ranks of each type of electronica swell.

Aquayak altogether I can agree with some of your points, most are idealistic at best; however, some are correct. Still to go to the example of capitalizing my name clearly makes this some sort of mark. Then to add the fact there must be a sort of law to penalize me is a threat. No grey area about it black/white. That's where im confused. Your free to your own judgment on what this site is but by no means allowed to call out me (or Winston for that matter).

laf, i often post on TA and believe me, twisted, solid and UNION make trance in vancouver. We had the plaza, which was a great venue (known throughout the "raver" world). Considering the talent and shows that these people bring, trance in vancouver has never been better.

course i like how neoh says he is an admin, i thought he was just working on the server. although i agree with neoh on his points.

on a side note though, anyone heard DjCommisad play before? does he spin here?

Self righteous much buddy? Its a website. People should be able to say whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't directly affect others in a negative way. That is what the anonymity for the net is for, saying whatever the hell you want, when you want. Otherwise, I think for the most part users conduct themselves in a (semi) respectful mannor and very few (if any) threads need to be closed. The only "hardcore moderation" that needs to be implemented, in my opinion, is against the post whore ways of many.

What good will that do? Honestly. Could you be more of a little bitch? Something as huge as FnK (in a positive or negative way) isn't going to cease to exist, or go quietly at that. I heard from a reliable source that the U.S. Secret Service shut down a few websites recently for including illegal content. Although if we keep it hypeapethical (SP) it should be all good. I doubt that the RCMP would shut this website down or put its administrators in jail for the posta made on here. Although I kinda agree that people shouldn't discuse illegal material on a public forum or at least be careful what the say.
