Heaters at NYE?
My friend thinks that it would be a good idea if there was a gas heater at the smoke pit for NYE. Just wondering what people think about that, I personaly don't like the idea, but I don't go out to the smoke pit during raves cause I don't smoke.

You damn smokers shouldnt smoke and shouldnt take up resourses for the smoke pit. If you wanna smoke i hope it rains and is very cold for you guys. Good motivation to quit. Bring a hoodie or something if your really worried. THats my 2 cents... Spend it on anything else. like police

the smoke pit isn't just for smoking.
If you are the kinda person who spends most of the time @ the smaller rooms, you'd know that it heats up like a motherfucker in there. then after a while you need out... then comes the HARD DECISION.. 1) chill in the big trance room 2) Go to the smoke pitt.. and inhale some 2nd hand smoke to death. lot of people choose #2. :)

Yah but I know when I go outside it's to cool down and get some fresh air and by fresh air I mean dirty raver smoke air, and probably wanna stay cold not have some fake heat blowing in my face and I agree with spending it on something else...

psch, i have NEVER been to a party with heaters for the smokers, and i am a smoker and i kno there just aint NO LOVE fo the smokers... sad but tru.

i dont think so, im always freakin freezing after about a minute or two... and i usually dont even finish my whole cig cuz i get too cold to quick!
i would love it if there was heaters.. or even ONE SPACE heater.. that way all the cold ppl could crowd around it, and all the other ppl who wanna b cold could stay the fuck away...

Kay Ima smoker and I dont think they should have aheater...
Im trying to quit and if they bring ina heater that will just make ppl want to smoke more cause its not cold...The only reason I dont smoke that much is cause it's cold outside and I hate the cold.

I don't smoke, sometimes I might go out to cool down, but then its so cold that I go back inside where its warm. It will be so cold in the smoke pit on NYE, I'm probably gonna stay inside the whole night, fuck the cold. My friend's smoke and they think it be kewl if there was a heater, but I personaly don't care if there is one or not. Plus its probably never gonna happen cause heaters would just cost more money and if I was a promoter I wouldn't get a heater, I just say don't smoke if its too cold and get inside.
Sometimes its nice though to go out for a min. or two and just relax, it will be so cold on NYE, I don't know how people can stand there in their shirts and smoke and talk for like 10mins., I'd freeze.

I can tell you from experience that its BLOODY COLD outside on NYE in Vancouver. Recalling Twisted had them for a handful of their shows and heaters were more then a positve additon. It sorta shows a little care and concern for the party goers by the company. Well, thats just my two cents (for what its worth). ;)

For $80 a ticket, i think it'd be really nice to have some long tents, and heater lamps for the smoke pit. It's a luxury. Keeping your jacket or your hoody on you would be convinient, unless you plan on dancing and getting hot. Then, you'd probably coat check yoru shit, and be out in the cold for your hourly smoke. I don't smoke. Many of my friends do. I wouldn't mind having a heatlamp for me to stand under while i chill with them outside. In january, it'll hopefully snow. just keep that shit in mind. and I hardly think that the promoters will be like 'let's axe a cop and use the money for a heater' or vice versa. A heater(s) would be PIMP.
