Strobe lights have always tripped me out.

I always liked the idea of a tunnel leading you to the party. There's a cool venue on... 1st?.... where you have to go through a tunnel and it empties out right into the middle of the party... One party I was at there they had smoke and lasers all through the tunnel, left for an exceptionally trippy effect as you came in.

Even cooler is if you've got a bunch of tin foil around it and strobes going.... main problem would be though people tripping out harsh could get easily disoriented by it and epileptics watch out.

But it would be trippy.

For me it's really the combination of it all. It really depends on how the set-up is done and the overall impact. I've designed many shows all based around highlighting one element and changing that element for each event to keep it fresh.

well a good combo of everything makes it dope. 1 thing alone doesnt really cut it. like if u had crazy lasers but the shittest screens, lights etc.. then it would be nothing. But if i had to choose 1 then its lasers by far

Overrated.

A decent soundsystem that can fill the venue with sound while not raining in on the chill areas is better.

Not to mention, I hate it when promoters decide to get the BEST SOUND SYSTEM EVAR!!! and blare it and then the party gets busted at 3am because of noise complaints.

I'd rather dance all night to not-so-goddamn-loud music than only get half a night's entertainment whilst the bass starts pushing me off my feet making it harder to dance....
