Anyone race(cars)

I'm workin on my engine right now but just curious if anyone races...

I got a 73 vette with a 454 big block, racing cam w/roller rockers 3' hooker headers edelbrock aluminum intake...

usually I jsut race my friends, but it's getting boring jsut racing the same couple people.

What's the stats on the Cam? You have any aftermarket heads? Posi rear? If only my Mustang wasn't broken. :( It wouldn't win, but it's fun to race either way.

I don't know the stats on the cam, I'd have to ask my dad... ya it has posi, 12 bolt I think.. the heads are stock...

I'm gonna save up around 5-6grand and completely rebuild my entire engine next winter... over the last couple years I've gotten it painted, new leather interior, new carpeting, and put on the original rally rims with new rubber

Nice 74 is my second fav. car they are very similir i havent raced in a year or so but my familly is big into it. Next year i am going to go back racing with them. My Bro has a 56 chevy bell air with a 350 small block blown on alchole it runs low 9 right now we are trying to get it down to the 8 for next year. My dad drives a top fuel nastalig dragster that runs 6s in the quater which i will be hopeful running next year.
