The situation at Dooms Night was a very unique one. -- We have had a similar type of sitation happen to us before too.

A good part of the reason why Dooms ended up selling out and there was the craze with the tickets was because of what happened with Spooky. It sent all those looking for a "rave-type event," scrounging for tickets at the last minute. -- A lot of money was made off of people that were really left with no choice on what to do... So they shelled out the cash. Don't get me wrong, the line-up was crazy, but not worth $200+ if that's what you ended up paying.

same.........but I bought a total of 6 NYE tickets all for ppl in my group and when I bought them (all at $82) I thought of just picking up a couple extra and sell them to ppl on the site but thought better........whats the point in screwing some one over from getting a ticket at a somewhat good price for that moment just so you can make a couple bucks........most ppl will probably just say screw it and not go.

The point of bitching is that it's illegal for a reason and if people are outside the rave trying to....i think the word is "SCALP" tickets they should be charged. Or at least have all their tickets confinscated including thier own.

Of course, the price of tickets is all about supply and demand and if people are that desperate and have nothing better to do on NYE then they can be stupid and pay two hundred bones. I wont get mad at them.

haha and its only after the nights over that they realize all they got for their 100+ dollars is ONE night of fun, and probably a headache. I guess if your rich its worth it.

i dont think ticket scalping is illigal in canada though.... considering the same people do it almost daily outside of GM place before any event there... and the cops constantly walk by them and do nothing...

lol, i just started to rave but people say the vibe is so different now and it isn't as good as it was like 3 or so years ago....

i think because island doesn't have that huge fucking group of nammers ( dont get me wrong 2 of my friends are asian ) but those ones with bags all in the floor, sleeping on the floor, all fucked leaning on their men....... basically the middle of that trance room at dooms was fucked and i bet the island doesn't have that...........

Here's a simple solution to the 'sold out' problem. I have a few tickets for sale and they are not for $200 I can promise you that. If you want a ticket(s) contact me and I'll be glad to hook anybody up, but I'm running out of tickets really fast now that the party is sold out. I'm free all day today or will be at Panchos tonight. I'm sure people will find my price fair and reasonable :)

I agree fully.....but what was wierd/stupid was that closer to the end of the rave, at around 5-5:30 am, security were telling ppl in the stands that were half sleeping that if they wanted to sleep to go home but to my knowledge they weren't doing anything about the ppl sleeping on the dance floor......in my opinion they shoulda left the ppl in the stands alone and told the ppl sleeping on the floor that they should go home to sleep
