Seriously. Some songs age well. This does the opposite. I'm actually starting to not like it now...

If i ever decide to drop that track in a set, I couldn't keep it on for longer than 1 minute.
Its fun for a very short while, then it gets straight up repetitive.

however, i think that its sometimes nice to hear a very familiar tune... no matter how cheesy or crappy it be. For example, I'd never pop that track in my md and listen to it casually.. but at Donald Glaude, I totally dug it when he threw it down.

What's with all these french house producers just grabbing some 80's loop and filtering the shit out of it, giving it a funky bassline and just... not doing anything else with it?

Dave Armstrong did it really well with Out Of Touch. Everybody else that's ripped him off since sucks.

I heard it on a random radio station on the net.The beat is fun and all but I only really like it after the minute or two of fading in and...it just takes too long to listen to because theres nothing to it really.

lolz oh boy, No ones ripped dave off in a while and Out Of Touch doesnt have a funky bassline so im not sure you know what your talkin about =). "Call on meeeeee" we jokingly refer to it as can get to be too much for me even with several listens in a day. Specially when they play the vid every minute.

Uniting Nations - Out Of Touch is a more recent riding-the-waves piece of trash.

I dunno. It just seems a lot of the new filter house stuff I'm hearing these days is just picking some old loop from the 70s or 80s and just running with it. I just hope this trend dies quickly. It can get real old real fast for me.
