I've been playing chords from various songs just by listening to the song,

Things like

dj tiesto - lethal industry
robert miles - children
robert gietelmen - children of the sun
tontb - dream machine
super 8 - alba

etc.

have you ever tried doing robert miles - children! oy.

it's easy to find the chords by listening, but keeping your left hand with those 3 notes and playing the entire song with your right hurts my hand. :|

you've got a good ear. i used to train for perfect pitch by getting this set of CD's. i can identify E flat and F sharp everytime, but all the others need work. maybe i'll pick it up again :)

haha, yea I taught myself to play that when I was 16ish! :D

it is hard to keep playing it over & over again tho, ouch!

I've never been able to pick up note reading..i loove my piano.

I can't read notes either.

In fact, I can do the moonlight sontana - I listened to it on a CD and knew the song in about 45 minutes.
