Near death situations

Ok last night i came close to kickin the bucket! im driving along around 11pm, i was just heading home! anyways my gf was talking to me about some kind of job as i was nearing a intersection. The light was red so i stoped i was in the left turning lane with my blinker on! so the gf starts going on about this job she wanted and so i started thinking about it and the dumb as i am, not thinking and all, treated the intersection like is was a four way stop! so i proceeded into the intersection, only to hear my gf scream so i slamed on my breaks and stoped only in time for this car coming from my left side going about 100km and then a second. the car just missed me by like half a foot, the driver had to swerve. I almost shit my self, because i know that if my gf was not there or had not of noticed the car i would be dead right now. Plus the car that went flying by me would have never even suspected my stupidity and never have any time to stop! whats worse to it all is that i was not wearing my seat belt, not that it would save me in this situation but it was the part when the gf said to me to put it on! and i said no! scary scary. PLUS i would be missing the NYE rave! lol
if any of you got a close call story throw her on hear and lets share!

Almost the same as you in Richmond (insert joke here), was driving and had a green light so I drove (obviously) there was a white beamer ripping along and she didn' stop at all flies right through the intersection and smashes my drivers side turnsignal (she was coming from the passenger side)
If that wasn't close enough and fukked up enough for my liking, I headed back to my friends house and crashed on her couch cuz I was just a wee bit sketched out from having my truck and life extiguished... My friends mom runs in, in the morning and goes "haze, what kinda car did you say that girl was driving?" so I say a white sporty beamer... and she replies with "there is an article in todays paper about a girl that killed herself street racing in a white beamer last night about 5 blocks from where you were..."

meh, one time I was driving home from the ladies place and I see this car screaming down a hill towards the intersection, I have a green, but I decided to watch what he was doing, I stopped at the green light, and a truck behind me decided he wanted to honk at me continuously.

As I watched the red sports car drive through the red light, the truck stopped honking.

I almost went over the granville street bridge when i was driving on X-mas, scary. And i choked on a piece of pizza yesterday....it was intense. I couldn't breath for about 45 seconds, my friends thought i was joking....and were making fun of me.....haha.....gooood times :S.

do note though that if you were alone you'd probably be more focused on the road... it sounds more like you just being distracted as opposed to being stupid... happens to the best of us...

115 mph in a 60 degree bank in a sideslip, about 17 mph over the Never Exceed speed and 60 mph over maximum sideslip speed... I broke about 5 engineering limits going from 800' to 75', flaring and landing. Not bad for a Glider, but it made sounds that I never want to hear from an Aircraft again.
