anyone tried VEGEMITE?!?

I don't know if you can even get it in Canada, but everyone in Australia seemed to have an opinion on it. I found it to be both repulsive and strangely appealing...

if you are ever in england get a snack called twiglets, they are like pretzel sticks but they are coated in vegimite flavoring.

vegemite is a veggie/yeast spread... the flavour kind of reminds me of beer, but very salty. it's pretty good on toast with cheese and avocado, as long as you only put a tiny bit.... too much vegemite is deadly!!!

I think you can find it in Canada... I used to work at safeway and we used to stock it. It's made by the same company as Marmite right? My grandparents love that stuff

i personally prefer marmite.... on some yummy toast with butter... mmmmmm but i havent had that since i left the uk....

A friend of mine brought some back for me when she went to Australia for a month.

It was in little packages with crackers, like the kraft ones you get with cheeze whiz, except it was vegemite.

I really thought I was going to throw up. Just the smell of it is bad enough.
