woot i live right at the bottom there between 128th and 140th. So i'm safe. Doesen't look good for crescent beach though haha...

Here in the Wack it is a flood zone, and there was a really big flood here in the 1950's that went into the city. Now there's dykes at the danger points around rivers so it probably won't happen again, but if the dyke busted I might get flooded.

They don't allow you to build houses here on the lowlands anymore where the main living level is near ground level, so they design them so you have the kitchen / living room upstairs and the ground level is just a rec room or something non-essential.

Then there's Mount Baker, 40 km south of here, it smokes a little and could blow up like Mount St Helens but the wind would save us from the ash.
