House on fire down the street

A bunch of sirens went by on my street and I take a look and it's fire trucks - about 4 !

A house down the street has a fire - lottsa smoke. It looks like the fire was at the back of the house which i haven't seen yet.

Nicest house on the street too. Hopefully nobody hurt. Will check it out more tomorrow. It's out now, just some smoke & steam.

Interesting - many of the firemen here are part-time and keep their gear in their car trunks and just drive to the fire and open the trunk, I saw several of them, probably they show up only when the fire is too big for the regular firefighters.

A rare event.

Yeah my buddy lives in a very nice area across town and there've been 2 drug ops in nice houses there. One was a crystal meth lab or something.

The other was guys making hash oil indoors with flammable liquids and it exploded and blew out the windows and another fire. Obviously those guys didn'y have a clue what they were doing.

The housefire on my street, who knows.

I'm in Chilliwack (aka "the Wack").

Seems there's been some kids up to no good dropping in around here the last few days, minor vandalism things like slashing a car tire next door, ripping down Xmas lights etc, and they were seen just before the fire, someone got their licence # so they can be checked.

If they would just go on their computers and post on FnK there'd be no need for fires!
